About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Podiatrist to join our team at Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. As a Podiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a range of foot and lower limb conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with foot and lower limb conditions, including wound care, biomechanics, and nail surgery.
- Provide health education and advice to patients on foot care and prevention of foot-related problems.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Contribute to the development of the podiatry service, including the implementation of new treatments and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient consultations and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Registered Podiatrist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Degree or Diploma in Podiatric Medicine.
- Certificate in local anaesthesia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of research skills and ability to apply evidence-based practice.
