Literary Festival Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Programme Administrator to join our team at Edinburgh International Book Festival.
- Providing administrative support to the Programme team
- Coordinating events and logistics
- Communicating with stakeholders and team members
The ideal candidate will have extensive administrative experience, preferably within a creative environment, and computer literacy – including Microsoft Office, Teams, Monday.com, and databases.
A strong understanding of the publishing industry and/or festivals, as well as experience working in a third sector organisation or with vulnerable groups, would be advantageous.
The salary for this role is £26,280 per annum pro rata, and additional hours are required during the festival itself. Any overtime worked (beyond the standard 40 hours/week) will be given back to the employee as TOIL.
