Job Description

The Mental Health Support Specialist will provide telephone-based support to individuals experiencing mental health concerns, using a recovery-based model of care. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing mental health triage assessments and providing safe and appropriate outcomes
  • Undertaking clinical risk assessments based on latest empirical evidence and compliant with local policies and procedures
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation, national, and local policies, and issues related to mental health

The salary for this role is approximately £34,000-£43,000 per annum, depending on experience and location.
