The New Zealand Government is seeking Enrolled Nurses with mental health scope to join our team in a new extended treatment service at Hillmorton Hospital. This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to strengthen your therapy skills within Mental Health.

About the Position:

Job Summary:

  • This role involves working in a 10-bedded service, providing care for individuals who require additional assessment and support to safely transition into the community.
  • You will provide a safe and supportive environment for extended assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation following admission to the adult acute service.

Your Key Duties:

  1. Providing high-quality care in a 10-bedded service.
  2. Supporting illness management and enabling consumers to live the life they want to live.

About Our Team:

  • We are looking for experienced Enrolled Nurses with mental health scope who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.
  • Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
  • Rotating roster of 4 days on, 2 days off for full-time.
  • Registered with the Nursing Council of New Zealand with a current APC and mental health scope.
  • Previous experience working within any area of mental health.

Remuneration Information: Estimated $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
