About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at the Hangleton Manor, a historic pub in Hove, part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of venues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of chefs to deliver exceptional food quality and presentation
  • Develop and implement menus, ensuring they meet the high standards of the Hall & Woodhouse brand
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock control
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor and control food costs, ensuring profitability
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff to achieve their full potential
