About the Role:

Pertemps Heathrow is seeking a skilled Hydraulic Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Mobile Sales and Service Unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site hydraulic hose replacements for customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Maintain stock levels within the Mobile Sales and Service Unit, ensuring optimal inventory management.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on the MSSU, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Keep the MSSU clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Manage supplied documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist colleagues within the franchise as needed, providing support and expertise.

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of hydraulic systems.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical ability, with the capacity to lift and maneuver equipment.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Professional and courteous demeanor, with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with a high level of organization and time management.
  • Full UK driving license, with a clean driving record.
  • Completion of induction training, provided by Pertemps Heathrow.
  • Work experience in a technical/engineering environment, although not essential, is advantageous.
