About the Role:

The HR PMO is responsible for assisting in the definition and maintenance of the standards of project management and process within the HR department.

This role will lead several projects simultaneously across the Human Resources department of various sizes and complexity.

The ideal candidate will have proven PMO/Project Analyst experience including understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead projects across the Human Resources department.
  2. Analyse existing Human Resources processes, identify gaps, and lead resolution projects.
  3. Support strategic lead projects such as M&A activities.
  4. Manage all project aspects including planning and analysis, budget, scope, schedule, risk, and resource management.
  5. Work closely with the project sponsors to develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project plans and associated communication documents.
  6. Measure, monitor, and report on project/transition activities, milestones, dependencies, status, KPIs, and issues/risks.
  7. Facilitate the monitoring and reporting of projects on the UK HUMN Project Portfolio to the UK HUMN Executive committee and key stakeholders.
  8. Act as a reference point for managers and teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches, PMO queries, and information.

Requirements:

  1. Proven PMO/Project Analyst experience.
  2. Understanding of the principles and frameworks of successful project management.
  3. Experience of working in an HR department desirable.
  4. Understanding of process mapping or business analysis principles is advantageous.
  5. Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  6. Detailed experience of Microsoft and Project applications.
