Support Specialist for Neurodiverse Pupils

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism in a Special Primary School.
The RoleIn this role, you will provide group support and assist children both in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions as required. Your key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils with high and low functioning Autism.
- Utilizing visuals to structure sessions, including visual timetables and now/next boards.
- Employing calm, clear communication and confident behaviour management strategies.
Please note that experience supporting children with Autism and excellent behaviour management skills are essential for this position.
About the PositionThis is an ongoing contract position available ASAP with an estimated salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
