Product Development Manager

Imagine a role that combines the thrill of product development with the satisfaction of driving business growth. As a Senior Buyer - Product Development with CPI Selection, you will be at the forefront of creating innovative and quality products that meet customer demands.
About the PositionThis pivotal role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all products align with customer standards, values, and market demands. You will be responsible for collaborating with merchandisers, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to achieve successful product outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Collaborate with merchandising, supply chain, and QA to ensure projects are delivered on-cost, on-spec, and on-time, meeting ethical and safety standards.
- Global Coordination: Work daily with the Hong Kong office, factories, and QA to manage a successful Product Development and Release process.
- Creative Collaboration: Partner with the Design team on concepts, artwork, packaging solutions, and copy, ensuring consistency in branding.
- Range Development: Build and propose product ranges including SKU counts, pricing structures, and planogram solutions.
- Specification and Compliance: Draft and sign off on detailed product specifications and ensure all products are costed to deliver target ROI.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and evaluate team assignments, prioritize workloads, and adjust resources as needed.
- Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve project issues, offering creative solutions to stakeholders.
- Customer Engagement: Present products, ranges, and categories to customers, and assess product performance based on retail sales.
Competitive Salary | Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
