SEN Teaching Role in Highly Regarded School

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 per annum.

We are seeking an experienced SEN teacher to join our team at an Outstanding SEN school in Harlow. The successful candidate will have experience in PMLD or a relevant special education qualification.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver individualized lesson plans that cater to each student's unique abilities and needs
  • Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and families to provide comprehensive care and support for students
  • Implement differentiated instruction and individual education plans (IEPs) to ensure student progress
  • Maintain high standards of care, compassion, and commitment to inclusive education

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in PMLD or a relevant special education qualification
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team
  • Nurturing, adaptable approach and commitment to helping students reach their potential
