Clinical Psychiatrist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for leading a team and providing clinical expertise in Psychiatry. Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Psychiatry
- Develop and deliver educational programs for undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Contribute to the development of clinical policies and guidelines
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
- MBBS (or equivalent) and MRCPsych (or equivalent) qualification
- Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT
- Approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Approved Clinician Status
- Experience in medical education, teaching, and curriculum design
