Clinical Psychiatrist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer

Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear (CNTW) NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our medical education programs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in Psychiatry, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of medical education programs, including teaching and curriculum design.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve service improvements and excellence in patient care.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Engage in research and scholarly activities, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in Psychiatry.
- Eligibility for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT.
- Approved under Section 12(2) of the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Approved Clinician Status.
- Experience in medical education, including teaching and curriculum design.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
