Job Title: Store Manager

Job Summary:

Aqumen Recruitment is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a team of sales professionals at a prestigious retail store. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and profit through effective store management, ensuring high standards in all areas, and taking full responsibility for store security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to review and achieve sales turnover budgets, and communicate these goals to your team.
  • Support branch staff and oversee specific sales transactions.
  • Ensure all staff are fully trained to maximise sales potential.
  • Manage overhead budgets and maintain staff costs within budgeted plans.
  • Recruit and induct staff in line with company standards.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in accordance with the Five Star Service Agreement.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure after-sales service is utilised effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of window and interior displays.
  • Use merchandise reports to promote products effectively.
  • Monitor local trends and stock requirements to ensure effective stock management.

Requirements:

  • Proven retail sales and management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and organisational abilities.
  • Experience in stock management and the capability to train and motivate staff.
  • Adept at handling disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Will to undertake further training and development as required.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and occasional cover at other branches.
