About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our innovative Neurosciences team at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist assessment and intervention to patients with complex neurological conditions, including stroke and head injury.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective discharge planning.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Contribute to the education and training of students and staff, sharing expertise and best practices.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc OT) and registration with the Health Professions Council.
  • Significant experience in the acute setting, with a focus on stroke and neurology.
  • Proven track record of leadership and supervision, with a commitment to staff development and mentorship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of evidence-based practice and the ability to apply this in a clinical setting.
