Mainstream Primary School Teaching Associate

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Teaching Associate to join our team at a thriving mainstream primary school in Bishop Auckland. As a Teaching Associate, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective support strategies for pupils with SEND.
  2. Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  3. Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment that values diversity and promotes social inclusion.
  4. Support children in developing essential life skills, such as communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
