About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Consultant to join our team at MIGSO-PCUBED. As a Project Consultant, you will be based in the Milton Keynes area and work on a variety of projects across different industries, including Defence, Aerospace, and Automotive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and scheduling projects
  • Resource management and risk assessment
  • Cost-control and estimating
  • Project communication and stakeholder management

You will be working with a range of clients, including top organisations in Defence, Aerospace, and Automotive, who are working on cutting-edge programmes of national importance.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and curious individual with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You will be an effective and influential communicator, an open and collaborative team-player, and passionate about continuous learning.

You will have:

  • Understanding and experience of project management, including at least one of either project planning, scheduling, cost control, risk assessment, and/or resource management
  • Proficiency in Earned Value Management or estimating techniques would be an advantage, as would exposure to Primavera P6 for those with a project planning specialty
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work on complex issues, and communicate solutions in a clear and concise manner
  • Eagerness to further your development within a consulting environment and a consulting mind-set
  • A relevant qualification such as from APM (PMQ, PPQ), PRINCE2 or PMP would be of benefit
