About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project budgets and highlight any risks, challenges, and mitigations.
  • Support the long-term development of your function or Business Unit (BU), creating a sustainable business future.
  • Commit to making a positive impact for our people, our clients, and our planet, and take ownership for holding others to account who do not uphold the Mace values.
  • Manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities.
  • Lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace group, the centres of excellence, Mace way control centre and knowledge hub.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent demonstrable experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills at all levels. This should include customers; 3rd party representatives, other business & functional leaders and key support personnel.
  • Successful relevant experience in a complex project environment including demonstrable experience in team management, planning, contracting and delivery of projects.
  • Successful record of project budget management and ability to understand and interpret commercial and financial landscapes (budgets, forecasts, actual status).
  • Experience in managing ambiguity in a project environment with strong evaluation and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrable project safety management practice and knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Experience with safety cases in support of projects.
