Job Title: Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Drainage and Flood Risk Engineer to join our team in Leeds. As a key member of our Civils & Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in delivering flood risk and drainage projects from concept to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead flood risk and surface water separation projects
  • Conduct flood risk assessments and design flood alleviation schemes
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver design discussions and presentations
  • Develop Natural Flood Management solutions and work with the NPPF
Requirements:
  • Experience in flood risk and drainage engineering
  • Strong understanding of the NPPF and flood risk management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in IT systems such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
