Assistant Drainage Engineer

Penguin Recruitment is working with a leading Engineering and Environmental Consultancy to find an experienced Assistant Drainage Engineer to join their Civils Team in Leeds.

This exciting role offers the opportunity to work on Flood Risk, Environmental, and Drainage Projects for various clients, including housing developers, local authorities, and private sector companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3.
  2. Develop Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications and design drainage systems using Microdrainage and Causeway Flow.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong BSc and/or MSc in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Hydrology, or a related field, and experience working in a consultancy or local authority completing road design or drainage strategies and design using Microdrainage or Flow.

It is essential to reside locally and have a keen interest in Civil Engineering, Road Designs, Flood Risk Assessments, or Flood Consequence Assessments.
