The Family Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried GP to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical services to our patients, working autonomously and collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent clinical care to our patients, adhering to the GMC standards for good medical practice.
- Manage long-term conditions effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Process administrative tasks efficiently, including referrals, investigations, and repeat prescription requests.
- Contribute to the effective management of the practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the team.
- Participate in practice audits, local initiatives, and quality improvement programs to enhance service delivery and patient care.
We are looking for a qualified GP with:
- Full GMC registration and National Performers List registration (England).
- Appropriate defence indemnity and evidence of current validation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team member and autonomously.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in EMIS and Office software.
- Experience of working in a primary care environment, with a focus on continued professional development.
The Family Surgery is a well-established, innovative, and hardworking practice located in Birkdale, Southport. We offer a supportive environment, with dedicated pharmacist support and a range of additional services, including medical cover for Discharge to Assess beds, vasectomy, and minor surgery services.
