Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our 7-Day GP Service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the health and clinical needs of patients, making final diagnoses, and providing treatment, including prescribing medication or referring patients to specialist services.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a mental health setting, strong leadership skills, and the ability to use the EMIS Clinical System. They will also possess highly developed interpersonal skills, including negotiation, conflict management, and feedback.

The post is a casual one, with shifts requested and allocated via an app-based rota system. We are looking for a flexible candidate who can work from 5pm in the evenings between Monday to Friday and throughout the weekend during the daytime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patient health and clinical needs
  • Make final diagnoses and provide treatment
  • Prescribe medication or refer patients to specialist services
  • Work independently and as part of the 7-Day GP Service team

  • Non-medical independent/supplementary Nurse prescriber V300
  • Experience of working in a mental health setting
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Salary

The salary for this position is £45 per hour weekdays and £50.00 per hour at the weekend.
