Job Summary

Main Responsibilities
  • Monitoring patients' conditions by taking vital signs.
  • Assisting in the delivery of patient care as directed by the Registered Nurse.
  • Ensuring that the patient's needs are met when making decisions about their care and wellbeing.
  • Providing support to patients with compassion during daily activities, ensuring privacy, dignity, and human rights are respected.

Person Specification

Experience
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Mental Health Care Assistant, with relevant qualifications.

Qualifications
  • All Care Support Worker roles require evidence of completing the Care Certificate or a relevant qualification.
  • Student Nurses must have at least 12 weeks of clinical placements.
  • Care Certificate from an NHS Organisation.
  • QCF Level 2 Diploma in Healthcare Support Services issued after 2011.
  • Degree/Diploma in Nursing without NMC Registration.

Salary and Benefits

You will be paid between £13.50 and £22.00 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
