Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage day-to-day maintenance issues and breakdowns to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  2. Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with production personnel to maximize equipment usage and efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.
  4. Troubleshoot and solve machine, robot, and site breakdowns to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  5. Ensure maintenance records are accurate and up-to-date.
  6. Liaise with suppliers to obtain external expertise when required to maintain site or machines.
  7. Manage stock replenishment of spare parts and consumables within predetermined budgets.
  8. Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
  9. Review and optimize maintenance plans to reduce machine downtime costs.
  10. Plan preventative maintenance schedules for all machinery and ancillaries with the Maintenance Team Leader.
  11. Undertake planned maintenance programs and review tasks and frequencies to ensure optimal maintenance.
  12. Ensure all statutory inspections, testing, and certification are completed on time and accurate records are maintained.
  13. Hold a time-served high-level technical expertise of modern Injection Moulding machinery.
  14. Hold a qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  15. Be able to take personal leadership to develop and promote fundamental disciplines and principles through cross-functional team-building.
  16. Possess and demonstrate excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all levels of the organization, including senior management and senior stakeholders.
