Leadership Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Healthcare Leadership Position to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, with experience in oncology trials. You will be responsible for leading a team of Clinical Research Nurses, Clinical Trial Practitioners, and Research Administrators, and developing strategies for efficient management and delivery of clinical trials.

About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients. You will work closely with clinical and academic staff to improve patient recruitment into clinical trials and develop new anti-cancer drugs and diagnostics. You will also be responsible for managing a team of Clinical Research Nurses, Clinical Trial Practitioners, and Research Administrators, and developing strategies for efficient management and delivery of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Oncology Trials Team and manage a team of Clinical Research Nurses, Clinical Trial Practitioners, and Research Administrators.
  • Develop and implement strategies for efficient management and delivery of clinical trials.
  • Work closely with clinical and academic staff to improve patient recruitment into clinical trials.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop new anti-cancer drugs and diagnostics.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A strong background in clinical research, with experience in oncology trials.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels across the Department and Directorate/Trust/Organisations.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Basic computer literacy in Windows and IT systems.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
