About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant - Mortgage Processing to join our team at USA Mortgage. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative and processing assistance to Mortgage Loan Originators, ensuring seamless loan processing and delivery to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to Mortgage Loan Originators, including making copies of borrower information, filing documents, and preparing files for submission.
  • Conduct preliminary research on loans to help determine mortgage eligibility.
  • Input data, setting up new customer files with application data.
  • Update and mine marketing database for new loans.
  • Assist Mortgage Loan Originators and other team members with clerical ad-hoc duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in mortgage processing or a related field.
  • Encompass experience or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Familiarity with mortgage lending industry and understanding of Conventional, FHA, and VA mortgage products.
