Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working with our logistics client who are currently looking for a Transport & Planning Coordinator to join their team
This is a great opportunity to work in a fast paced environment with a friendly team.
**Responsibilities-**
- Representing the Transport Operation in the daily Ops calls (09:15 & 16:15).
- Updating the team in an accurate and timely manner ensuring that all information relating to ‘at risk’ or ‘failed’ loads is shared.
- Maintaining updates to the ‘at risk’ loads and sharing information with the appointed Account Executive as and when available.
- The liaison points between the Account Executive within your building and the Transport Team - becoming a single point of contact for any transport queries.
- Ensure all company processes and procedures are followed as requested or trained.
- Ensure general administration, e.g. invoicing, filing, queries, claims etc is handled as per request by line manager in accordance with company requirements and to deadlines
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
- Foster, maintain and improve relationships with colleagues throughout the company.
- To undertake any relevant training events in line with own personal development needs and business requirements raising training needs and requirements to Local Manager
- To undertake any other reasonable task as required as directed by Transport manager/Line manager.
- Maintain professionalism when dealing with internal and external customers as per policies and procedures.
- Run the weekly forecast report and communicate to necessary people
**Skills**:
- Transport and planning experience
- Confident
- Transportation knowledge
Salary
- £28k-£29k dependant on experience
Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Needed to start ASAP
**Salary**: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to Commute:
- Arnold, Nottinghamshire (required)
