Design Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Teacher of Design and Technology to join our successful Technologies department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
About the Role:
- Teach KS3 and KS4 practical and theoretical DT lessons, inspiring pupils to develop their skills and knowledge in design and technology.
- Plan, mark, and deliver full teacher responsibilities, including a form group, ensuring high-quality education and support for all students.
- Deliver constructive feedback to pupils and parents, promoting progress and achievement.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum delivered at the school, shaping the future of design and technology education.
- Work on a Full Time basis, making a significant impact on our students' educational journey.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it.
- A degree or higher in a relevant field, such as design and technology or a related subject.
- At least 1 year's teaching experience with Secondary age pupils, with a strong track record of success.
- Unqualified teachers with extensive experience of teaching GCSE and/or A Level Design and Technology may also be considered.
Salary: In line with MPS/UPS, offering a competitive salary package.
