About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Major Donor and Legacy Officer to join our team at Charity People. As a key member of our partnership development team, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining relationships with high net worth individuals, major donors, legacy pledgers, and prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive stewardship strategy to cultivate and retain major donors and legacy pledgers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including high net worth individuals, major donors, and legacy pledgers.
- Deliver impactful stewardship, thanking, and face-to-face meetings to ensure exceptional donor experience.
- Collaborate with the partnership development team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to donors, legacy pledgers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in major donor and legacy fundraising, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with high net worth individuals and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
