Role Overview
SEND Inclusion Support is recruiting a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher with a primary specialism to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) aged 4-11.
We are seeking an experienced educator who can design and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student. Your expertise in creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment will be invaluable in helping students overcome learning barriers and thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized learning plans in collaboration with parents, teachers, and external professionals.
- Create engaging and motivating lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students and their families.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience working with primary-aged students with SEND, preferably in a special school or similar setting.
- Knowledge of various SEND conditions and effective strategies to support students' learning and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
