This role is fast-paced and requires a high level of organization and communication skills. As an Administrative Assistant, you will be working in a busy team within the Ophthalmology department, alternating between reception and the booking office. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting patients at reception.
- Answering telephones and dealing with appointment requests and queries.
- Booking patient appointments from waiting lists, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the system.
- Utilizing the NHS E-Referral Service to upload referral letters to EPIC.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust as an Administrative Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and professional administrative service to the Ophthalmology department. Your duties will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service to patients and staff.
