About the Role

The Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our established team at Mill View Lodge and Crisis Intervention and Treatment Team for Older People (CITOP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and management of older adults with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of patients accessing the service, including CPA reviews and medication management.
  • Assess and review patients with the Crises Team for Older People.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and families to ensure effective communication and care.
About the Team

The post holder will join an established team of Specialist Consultant Psychiatrists in Old Age, working alongside a wider network of consultants covering all sub-specialties. The team is supported by a dedicated service manager and a Modern Matron, providing operational and clinical oversight to both inpatient and CITOP teams.
