Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and treatment of older adults with mental health needs.

The post holder will work closely with our established multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients, their families, and carers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, patients, and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and treatment of older adults with mental health needs
  • Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support to patients, their families, and carers
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, taking into account the individual needs and circumstances of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Trust-wide policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience in working with older adults with mental health needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
