About the Role

The Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our established team at Mill View Lodge and Crisis Intervention and Treatment Team for Older People (CITOP).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and management of older adults with mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of patients accessing the service, including CPA reviews and medication management.
  • Work closely with the Crisis Team for Older People to assess and review patients in crisis.
  • Participate in teaching and peer-group events to support professional and personal development.
About the Team

The post holder will join a well-established team of Specialist Consultant Psychiatrists in Old Age, working alongside a wider network of consultants covering all sub-specialties. The team is supported by a dedicated service manager and a Modern Matron, providing operational and clinical oversight to both inpatient and CITOP teams.
