Job Summary:

This role involves conducting door-to-door visits to properties where no TV licence is registered, listening to customer reasoning, and making informed decisions on next steps. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately recording visit details, completing daily timesheets, and explaining the benefits of licence payment schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct door-to-door visits to properties where no TV licence is registered.
  • Listen to customer reasoning and make informed decisions on next steps.
  • Accurately record visit details and complete daily timesheets.
  • Explain and sell the benefits of licence payment schemes.
  • Take and accurately record payment details.
  • Attend court when required to give evidence in prosecution cases.
  • Carry out work and attend meetings as directed by the Visiting Manager.
  • Take records of interview under caution.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Physical mobility is required, as the role involves visiting multiple locations on a daily basis.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an excellent standard of both verbal and written English.

Training and Development:

The successful candidate will receive four weeks of virtual classroom training and one-to-one training in their working location with an experienced trainer. This will include building a strong foundation for the role, hands-on exposure to the field, and ongoing support from a management and coaching team.
