We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery
- Ensure that all customers receive a consistent and memorable dining experience, meeting or exceeding their expectations.
- Monitor and improve service standards, ensuring that all staff are trained to provide exceptional service.
- Team Management
- Lead and motivate a team of servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Restaurant Operations
- Ensure that the restaurant is safe and legal, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control costs, ensuring that the restaurant operates within budget.
- Commercial Awareness
- Understand the commercial aspects of the business, including sales targets, profit margins, and customer behavior.
- Make informed decisions to drive sales growth and improve profitability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations.
