Electromechanical Workshop Engineer

We are seeking an Electromechanical Workshop Engineer to join our team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and customising food manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain food manufacturing machinery

• Work to set checklists to prepare machines before sale

• Perform service and/or maintenance on industrial machines

• Build control panels from scratch

• Fault find on electrical systems

• Design small-scale electrical and pneumatic systems

• Strip down existing machinery and carry out repairs

• Programme drives with pre-programmed manufacturer software and settings

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in an engineering discipline or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years Electro-Mechanical Engineering experience ideally within a workshop

• Experience working with 3-phase electrical systems is essential

• COSHH awareness

• Forklift licence would be advantageous

• Solidworks, AutoCAD or relevant drawing software experience

• Hands-on approach with experience working with pneumatics

• Rockwell, Alan Bradley and Omron software experience desirable
