Job Title: Electric Actuators Product Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electric Actuators Product Design Engineer to join our team at Ideal Personnel & Recruitment Solutions Limited. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing new and special electric actuators for industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop new and special electric actuators
- Provide technical support to customers, European subsidiaries, Japanese Technical Centre, and company headquarters
- Investigate product claims, conduct product testing, and produce technical documentation
- Identify, develop, and deliver training to colleagues and customers
- Conduct research within the market, including trends and competitor activities

Requirements:

- Degree or HND qualification in Electronics, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- Knowledge of electrical motion control for industrial applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desirable:

- Over 3 years of work experience in SolidWorks designing mechanical components or assemblies for industrial machinery
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and electrical systems and test equipment
- Experience in planning and managing projects
- Technical product support experience
- Experience of delivering technical training
