Electrical Design Engineer - Innovation Pioneer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to pioneer innovations and advanced designs for food processing equipment. As a key member of our team, you will design electrical systems from scratch, working closely with the Mechanical engineering team to broaden product versatility and improve systems performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design electrical systems for food processing equipment, incorporating gearboxes, motors, PLCs, servo controllers, and safety devices.
  • Collaborate with the Mechanical engineering team to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Develop electrical drawings using AutoCAD and Draftsight, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and control systems, identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports and updates.
Requirements
  • Qualified Electrical engineer with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or an HNC in Electrical, Electromechanical, Robotics, Automation, or Food Processing discipline.
  • Proven track record as an Electrical Design Engineer, with experience designing electrical systems for capital equipment or special purpose machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, including safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
