About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pension Scheme Administrator to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our Administration team, you will play a vital role in delivering technical administration cases and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme.

Your Responsibilities
⁠ ⁠Complete calculations and manage correspondence for members, ensuring timely completion within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
⁠ ⁠Manage calculations and correspondence for high earners, including legislative controls for protection.
⁠ ⁠Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks on colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective.
⁠ ⁠Update and reconcile worklists to ensure compliance.
⁠ ⁠Review transfer cases to ensure compliance with regulations.
⁠ ⁠Respond to email correspondence and manage team email inboxes.
⁠ ⁠Assist auditors with queries during the annual audit.
⁠ ⁠Complete and review complex member calculations, maintaining all calculation SLAs.
⁠ ⁠Review complaint/Historic pension transfer cases and authorize daily payments.
⁠ ⁠Support all processes to maintain compliance and minimize escalations and complaints.
⁠ ⁠Provide support and testing for cyclic projects and key projects.
⁠ ⁠Support team members in PMI exams and take the initiative to improve processes and drive efficiency.

Your Requirements
⁠ ⁠Experience within DB Pension Scheme administration.
⁠ ⁠Experience in-house or Third Party administration.
⁠ ⁠Administration experience of technical benefit calculations.
⁠ ⁠Up-to-date knowledge of UK Pensions legislation.
⁠ ⁠Prioritization and time management skills.
⁠ ⁠Strong communication skills - written and verbal.
⁠ ⁠A strong team work ethic and willingness to help.
⁠ ⁠High motivation and a keenness to learn.
⁠ ⁠High numeracy and analytical skills.
⁠ ⁠UK Pension Scheme knowledge.
⁠ ⁠Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
