Job Title: Female Support Worker

UKCIL Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide support and assistance to a young woman with daily living activities, enabling her to maintain her independence.

Job Purpose:

The primary objective of this role is to support the individual in their daily life, promoting their independence and well-being. This will involve accompanying her to various activities, such as shopping, social events, and appointments, as well as providing assistance with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany the individual to various activities and outings
  • Assist with daily tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Encourage and promote independence and self-reliance
  • Maintain accurate records of activities and progress
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with functional neurological disorder (FND)
  • Ability to provide seizure support and management
  • Full UK driving license and use of own vehicle for work purposes
  • First aid training (desirable)
  • Similar interests (desirable) - cooking and arts and crafts
  • Female due to personal circumstances
  • Flexible and reliable
Terms and Conditions:
  • Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour
  • Hours and times of work: up to 25 hours a week, flexible working pattern
  • Annual holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks

Please note that a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check and satisfactory references are required for this position. Training courses will also be provided for insurance purposes.
