Seeking a reliable and flexible Female Support Worker to provide day-to-day assistance to a 28-year-old lady in Ten Mile Bank, PE38. The successful candidate will support her to remain independent, accompanying her on outings, shopping, and appointments, and providing general care and support.

Job Purpose:

To support a young woman with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) to maintain her independence, including taking her out and about, assisting with daily activities, and providing emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accompany the client on outings, including shopping, meals, and appointments
  • Assist with daily activities, such as personal care and household tasks
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Support the client to maintain her independence and engage in activities she enjoys
Requirements:
  • Experience/knowledge of FND
  • Experience with seizures
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Use of own vehicle for work purposes
  • First aid training (desirable)
  • Similar interests (desirable) - Cooking and arts and crafts
  • Female due to personal circumstances
  • Flexible and reliable
Terms and Conditions:
  • Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour
  • Hours and times of work: up to 25 hours a week, flexible working pattern
  • Annual holiday entitlement: equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks

Post subject to satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, satisfactory references, and completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months. Training courses will be provided for insurance purposes.
