This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative and dynamic nurse to join our team as a Band 6 Deputy Sister in the Gynaecology service at the East Midlands Planned Care Centre (EMPCC).
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic leader who can support our team in delivering high-quality care to our patients. The post holder will have continuing clinical responsibility for managing the department in the absence of the ward manager, including understanding finances, staff rosters, sickness and absence, delegation and supervision of staff, and being visible and approachable for patients, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the department in the absence of the ward manager
- Understand finances, staff rosters, sickness and absence, delegation and supervision of staff
- Be visible and approachable for patients, staff and visitors
- Deliver high-quality care to patients
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:
- RGN - first level
- Diploma or Degree in nursing or health-related subject
- Evidence of successful change management
- Evidence of post-registration educational continuing development
