This role is for a Band 6 Deputy Ward Sister/Charge Nurse, supporting and leading a team of registered and unregistered nursing staff to provide clinical, managerial, and educational leadership.

The successful candidate will demonstrate they possess the core values of Compassion, Respect, Trust, and Integrity in all aspects of their work. They will be expected to provide leadership and take an active lead in or facilitate the development of ward initiatives to improve the provision of care.

Key responsibilities include providing clinical, managerial, and educational leadership and taking responsibility for the management of the ward in the absence of the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse. The post holder will ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the ward and maintain the wards systems and standards.
