We are seeking a motivated and conscientious individual to join our Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Framework & Reporting team as a Risk Apprentice. The successful candidate will support both teams with key duties including supporting NFR Framework & Reporting processes, developing and distributing internal/external risk reporting, and maintaining relevant risk policies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and production of internal/external risk reporting.
  • Maintain and update relevant risk policies, frameworks, and standards documentation.
  • Provide secretariat support to relevant governance committees.
  • Maintain and administer the company-wide risk reporting system.
  • Conduct regular 'health checks' on risk system data.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify key themes and suggest solutions.
  • Structured approach to work and well-organised.
  • Ability to quickly learn and assimilate key processes and procedures.

Qualification Required: As a minimum, the candidate will have 5 National 5s or 2 Highers with grades in Maths and English (A-C).

Future Prospects: Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there may be opportunities for career progression within our NFR Framework & Reporting team or other relevant departments based on performance, business needs, and available opportunities.

Training Provided: As a Risk Apprentice with M&G, you will undertake the Business Administration SCQF Level 6 Apprenticeship.

This is a fixed-term contract for 15 months, upon which the business may decide to retain the apprentice subject to performance, headcount, and available funding.

Salary: £22,000
