Manufacturing Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions in Cardiff, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for the industrialization of new products, working closely with global contract manufacturers and design teams to optimize production processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and/or manufacturing engineering, with experience in advanced quality planning tools, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with manufacturing processes and work instructions. Proficiency in MS Office applications and excellent communication skills are also required.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements, job sharing, or part-time opportunities. About the Role:

  • Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Prepare reports collecting, analyzing process test and capability data (yields, cycle times, trends, etc.).
  • Prepare and manage production relevant documentation such as work instructions, control plans, process flow charts, and risk management.
  • Support Value Analysis/Value Engineering projects and workshops.
