Job Description

This exciting opportunity is part of our Apprenticeship Program, designed to provide a solid foundation in manufacturing engineering and skills development. As a Manufacturing Engineer Development Opportunity, you will be working closely with our experienced team to assist in the production and assembly of space flight & semiconductor hardware.

You will have the opportunity to operate and maintain various manufacturing equipment and tools, including lathes, manual milling machines, multi-axis CNC machines, sheet metal fabrication machines, and 3D printing machines. Additionally, you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of new manufacturing processes and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include performing inspections and tests to ensure products meet specifications, assisting in the maintenance of manufacturing documentation and records, participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality, and working collaboratively with the engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.

You will also be responsible for supporting the maintenance and cleanliness of the manufacturing area and equipment, participating in training programs and courses to enhance technical and professional skills, and adhering to health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess a strong interest in manufacturing and engineering, excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity, ability to follow instructions and work accurately in a fast-paced environment, good communication and teamwork skills, basic computer skills, willingness to learn and take on new challenges, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
