As a General Manager at Blue Sky Services, you will be responsible for the overall management of our grounds maintenance operations. This includes ensuring a high standard of service delivery, managing client relationships, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling and organizing jobs, and ensuring equipment is allocated effectively.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure their expectations are met and receive feedback for improving the service.
  • Win new clients and onboard them to our services.
  • Promote additional services to maximize revenue potential.
  • Produce quotations for new and existing clients.
  • Support the training and development of staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and report any incidents.
  • Act as a positive role model for employees and contractors.
  • Manage the recording of revenue and daily expenditure.
Requirements
  • Experience in managing teams and customer relationships.
  • Extensive experience in grounds maintenance and associated services.
  • Relevant qualifications in horticulture and grounds maintenance.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team and on own initiative.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
