Rutland Community Engagement Officer:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Rutland Community Engagement Officer. This part-time role involves developing and delivering community engagement programmes to promote wildlife conservation in the region. Based at the Rutland Volunteer Training Centre, with travel to various reserves and offices, this is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be motivated to work with people, and committed to supporting the conservation of Leicestershire and Rutland's natural heritage. This role offers flexibility, ongoing training, and the chance to work with a leading conservation charity. The salary for this position is approximately £26,045.62 per year, pro rata, based on 18 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver community engagement programmes to promote wildlife conservation.
  • Work closely with volunteers and community groups to develop and implement conservation projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service to existing volunteers and stakeholders.
