Account Sales Specialist

A sales engineer is required for a leading OEM in the cutting tool industry with a global presence.
The UK-based operation has a team of sales engineers who develop both new and existing business across various manufacturing sectors.

We're seeking a sales engineer with a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry, who can develop and maintain relationships with clients in their area or region.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell innovative metal cutting tools to end users and distributors.
- Listen to customers and sales project teams to understand their needs and deliver suitable technical solutions.
- Grow sales and volume of end users of the products.
- Identify and develop new leads, as well as follow up on leads generated from internal teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to coordinate and deliver marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Document cost-saving activities and update the CRM system regularly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cutting tool sales engineer or applications engineer.
- Proven background in business-to-business sales of technical products, preferably with cutting tools.
- Confident negotiation skills and ability to present to businesses at stakeholder level.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
- Efficient user of Microsoft 365, including TEAMS, and our CRM system for recording pipeline of new business.
- Full UK driving license.
