Engineering & Maintenance Manager

Location: Bristol

Working Hours: Days (7.30am-3.30pm)

Salary: £45,000 - 50,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance & Engineering Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems will be invaluable in maintaining our production processes. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of engineers to ensure minimal disruption to production;
  2. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to prevent downtime;
  3. Manage maintenance purchasing requirements, including capital forecasts;
  4. Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs);
  5. Oversee new projects from design stage to full installation/handover;
  6. Work closely with other departments to improve operations;
  7. Recommend, support, and implement continuous improvement activities to improve quality of product and production output;
  8. Liaise with customers, suppliers, and other service providers.

Requirements:

  1. Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical experience;
  2. A full driving license;
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
